The story of 'Raya Sadak 2' begins with Arya (Alia Bhatt), a young girl who fights against a hypocritical Baba Gyan Prakash (Makarand Deshpande). Arya's entire family, father Yogesh Desai (Jishu Sengupta) and aunt Nandini (Priyanka Bose), are blind devotees of Baba. Arya believes that her mother died due to this Baba's plot, which she has to avenge. He has launched India Fights Fake Guru, a campaign against Bigg Boss. During the campaign, Arya falls in love with troll Vishal (Aditya Roy Kapur). Amidst all this, Arya has to go to Kailash Mansarovar. It was his mother's wish that he reach Kailash before reaching the 21st stage of his age.

Arya Ravi books a taxi for his journey in Kishore's (Sanjay Dutt) taxi service 'Pooja Travels & Tours'. This booking was done three months ago by Ravi's wife Pooja. Pooja dies in an accident, after which Ravi goes into deep depression and has also tried to take his life. When Arya reaches for a taxi, he refuses. Somehow Arya convinces him. Ravi then sets out on a journey with Arya and her lover Vishal (Aditya Roy Kapur). During this journey, some such incidents occur after which Ravi makes Arya's help a part of his life.

Philosophically understood, Road 2 is the story of two broken characters coming together, who are spiritually and mentally strong.

The story is straightforward, but the screenplay is so complicated that for some time no one understands where the film is going. The initial scenes of Sanjay Dutt and Alia confuse. From her dialogues, Arya will be Ravi's daughter. However, later the picture starts to clear. However, the film is bored by then and follows a very poor pattern. Do not understand if the road is an emotional film or a thriller. No emotion emerges. This is definitely a flaw of writing. The writings of Pushpadeep Bhardwaj, Subrata Sengupta and Mahesh Bhatt were very weak. Dialogues are ineffective and outdated.

Talking about the acting side, the best actors like Gulshan Grover, Mohan Kapoor were dealt cheaply. The film's trailer suggested that in the role of Baba, Makarand Deshpande would create an impression similar to Sadashiv Amrapurkar, who became a master of abuse, but his character evokes a sense of humor rather than fear. Priyanka Bose did a good job in the recently released Z5 film exam, but her performance in Road 2 was over.

If any artist leaves an impact in the film, he is Jishu Sengupta. Jishu has played a negative role in the film and created scenes with her performance. There is a balance in his acting. Indeed, the character of Jishu brings an exciting twist to the road 2 story.

The music of the film is very simple. Also not found around Street Music. No song stays with you for long. There is a scene in the film, when Ravi is listening in his garage, we cannot live without you. The song brings a relief to the film and makes us wish that the entire song was heard. By the way, Road 2 would have been even more interesting if the road songs had been remaked.

After completion of Road 2 for about 2 and a half hours, in mind, it was better, see the road a second time!
